Supporting King’s College Hospital Charity will make the difference to so many lives.

We make the difference by providing funds for vital and diverse projects that add extra value to King’s services.

Recent projects supported by King’s Charity have included:

  • The £1.8m refurbishment of our unique world-leading Childrens’ Liver Unit.
    • South East London Bowel Screening Service; increasing the numbers of people in Lambeth and Southwark being screened, this service diagnosed 21 patients with early stage and therefore treatable Cancer within the first 18 months.
      • Ronald Macdonald Parents’ Rooms; providing the parents of seriously ill children the ability to stay overnight nearby in a comfortable environment.
        • Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Quality of Life Research; patients with ILD usually have a life expectancy of  2-3 years. The results of this research will be used to tailor individual treatments and improve outcomes for patients.
