Door to Door
We are very excited to be piloting King's very first door to door campaign within our local community of Lambeth and Southwark.
Door to door fundraising allows you to ask questions about where your money will be spent before committing to a gift. This means that you can sign up, on your doorstep, with the confidence of knowing that your money will be spent wisely to support our work.
Our fundraisers only ask for regular, monthly gifts by Direct Debit, and are not allowed to accept one-off cash gifts. Donating by Direct Debit is a safe, secure and easy way to give to King’s College Hospital Charity. Only the Charity is able to use the information and you are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.
If you would like to find out more information about our door to door fundraising, you can get in touch with us on 020 3299 3456 or email us at support@givingtokings.org.uk.
How to recognise a door to door fundraiser
Our door to door fundraisers will be:
- displaying an identification badge showing clearly their name, photo, employee number and campaign expiry date.
carrying King’s College Hospital Charity literature, including a welcome pack and a ‘With your support’ card
Our door to door fundraisers are paid to work from Monday to Saturday between the hours of midday and 8.30pm. If you would like to check the identity of one of our fundraisers, you can call 020 3299 3456 during working hours.
Where are our fundraisers working?
Each week we update the areas our fundraisers are working. Although these are accurate, very occasionally a fundraiser may cross over into another street or postcode by mistake.
These are the postcodes that our fundraisers are visiting this week:
SW2, SW4, SW8, SW9, SE1, SE5, SE11, SE15, SE16, SE17, SE19, SE21, SE22, SE24, SE27
How is door to door fundraising regulated?
Door to door fundraising is regulated by the Public Fundraising Regulatory Association (PFRA). The PFRA is a charity-led membership body which helps ensure that charity door to door fundraising is self-regulated. For more information, visit the PFRA website.
