Moving tribute available on iPlayer

King’s fundraiser Nicole Dryburgh is the focus of a BBC documentary about her life, her treatment at King’s and her tremendous work in raising £40,000 for a special unit in the Lion Ward despite being blind, deaf and largely confined to a wheelchair.

Nicole sadly died in 2010 aged 21 just a week before the unit for which she had raised the funds was opened.

In this film Nicole's mother Jackie speaks of her daughter’s positive attitude which resulted in the building of the specialist unit as well as other achievements such as the two published books which Nicole wrote.

Please take 25 minutes out of your day to sit down and watch this very moving tribute to a remarkable young woman.
