The documentary is the final programme in a series called The Hospital, which looks at the impact young people's lifestyles are having on the NHS.

The programme at King's focuses on the increasing number of younger patients we are treating with liver problems as a result of excessive drinking, drug-use, over-eating and viral hepatitis. It explores issues such as personal responsibility, the patient/doctor relationship, as well as the shortage of donor organs, which is making the decision making process around the allocation of organs for transplant harder than ever before.
