Jurassic Coast Weekend

The Jurassic Coast is England’s first Natural World Heritage Site. This trek starts at Durlston Head, just outside Swanage in Dorset and you trek a total of 23 miles (36km) over two days along on the South West Coastal Path in an east to west direction.

The diversity of the area is outstanding and the rugged coastline with serious climbs and decents will provide many a breathtaking view.

Itinerary

The following gives you a brief taste of the challenge ahead but for more detailed information please do not hesitate to contact one of the King's Fundraising Team.

DAY 1: Meet at the campsite early evening for dinner and briefing
DAY 2: Transfer to Durlston Country Park Visitor Centre for the start of the trek. Highlights include Dancing Ledge, Seacombe Cliffs and Windspit Quarry (disused). Around Alban’s Head pass Kimmeridge Ledges towards our final destination down on the shores of Kimmeridge Bay. Short hop to camp
DAY 3: Trekking across the Lulworth Ranges, past Worbarrow Bay, Mupe Bay, visiting the deserted village of Tyneham, towards Lulworth Cove and our finish at Durdle Door
